It’s hard to believe how much can change in just a short time, but we wanted to take a moment to reflect and share what’s been happening here at Millet Dental Clinic — both inside the clinic and beyond.
First off, our team has grown — in more ways than one! We’re now a team of 10, and we feel incredibly lucky to work alongside such a caring, dedicated group. Every new face brings fresh energy and helps us continue providing the kind of friendly, professional care we hope you’ve come to know us for.
We’ve also been celebrating some exciting personal milestones. Dr. Dennis and his wife welcomed a beautiful baby boy back in June 2024 (who is now 1 year old!), and Shannon, one of our hygienists, recently celebrated the arrival of her sweet baby girl in May 2025. It’s been such a joyful time for all of us — nothing brings more smiles around here than babies!
One thing we’re especially proud of is participating in the Canadian Dental Care Plan. We continue to accept all government dental plans and do our best to ensure everyone in our community has access to quality dental care.
Earlier this year, our entire team travelled to Banff to continue expanding our dental knowledge. It’s so important to us to stay current with the latest in dentistry, so we can bring the best of what the industry has to offer right back here to Millet.
On the clinic side of things, we’ve made a few changes to better support our patients. You may have noticed we’re now open on Thursdays, and we continue to offer evening appointments on Mondays and early mornings on Fridays. We know life gets busy, so we want to make it as easy as possible for you and your family to stay on top of your dental care.
We’ve also introduced a few new tools and treatment options that we’re excited about:
● Invisalign is a clear, removable option to help straighten teeth and correct malocclusion, which simply means when teeth or your bite aren’t lined up quite right. It can affect everything from your smile to how your teeth function.
● Nitrous oxide (laughing gas) for our younger patients and those who feel a little more anxious in the dental chair.
● Our new iTero scanner provides detailed 3D images of your teeth and gums. This helps us better explain what we see and work with you to create the right treatment plan, together.
Summer Clinic Closure
Just a quick reminder — our clinic will be closed for the summer holidays from July 28 to August 4. We’ll be back to regular business hours starting August 5, and we look forward to seeing you then!
